New Zealand vs South Africa

What a HUGE clash on the just the third day of the tournament. One of Rugby's most hard fought rivalries will break this competition wide open. The Springboks gained confidence with stellar showings against the All Blacks in the 2018 Rugby Championship, but New Zealand has a strong connection to Japanese Rugby and the All Blacks will have strong local support urging them onto a third consecutive title.

We are expecting to the see Noveir Stadium awash in Red, White and Blue for this one. The English will bring their usual array of emotion and songs, while the we cant imagine for one minute that the large American contingent in that region will be any less boisterous. The atmosphere will be a electric - particularly if the USA get amongst one of the tournaments bigger sides.

Ireland will prove to be the ultimate test for the Japanese in Pool A. In the mind of many, the Irish are firming as favourites beating all comers in 2018, with a squad that looks primed for a big World Cup campaign in 2019. This will be the Brave Blossoms chance to prove they are more then just sentimental favourites - but they will have to play out of their skins to do it.
